NIX18 — geen 18, geen alcohol. No alcohol under 18. It's the law, and we enforce it at every step.

Our commitments

We never sell to anyone under 18. You confirm your age with every order, and the deliverer checks ID at your door before handing over your parcel (Dutch Alcoholwet).
Our marketing is for adults only. We follow the Dutch Advertising Code for Alcoholic Beverages (Reclamecode voor Alcoholhoudende Dranken): our website has an age gate, our ads carry the NIX18 logo, and our social and email campaigns are directed exclusively at people aged 18 and over.
No irresponsible promotions. We never offer alcohol for free and never discount alcoholic beverages by more than 25% (art. 2a Alcoholwet).

Tecán is made to be sipped and savoured — quality over quantity. Geniet, maar drink met mate — enjoy, but drink in moderation.

The Dutch Health Council advises: don't drink alcohol, or in any case no more than one standard glass per day.
Don't drink if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Never drink and drive — 0% behind the wheel.
Alcohol does not mix with medication, work, or sports. When in doubt, skip the drink.
A standard serving of spirits in the Netherlands is 35 ml at 35–40% ABV — roughly the same amount of alcohol as a glass of beer or wine.
