Returns & Withdrawal Policy

1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (herroepingsrecht)

You may cancel your purchase within 14 days after you (or someone you designated) received the order.

To withdraw:

  1. Notify us within the 14-day period by an unambiguous statement — email info@tecantequila.com, or use the model withdrawal form below.
  2. Return the products within 14 days of your notification to: Tecán BV, Westerdoksplein 4, 1013 AZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
  3. Return shipping costs are for your account (the carrier's standard parcel rate).

2. Refunds

  • We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method, at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return shipment.
  • The refund covers the product price. If you withdraw the entire order, the standard delivery costs are refunded as well, as the law requires; a premium delivery option you chose is not refunded. Return shipping is at your own cost.

3. Condition of returned bottles

  • Opened bottles cannot be returned. A bottle whose seal or capsule has been broken is a sealed good that is not suitable for return once unsealed (art. 6:230p BW); the right of withdrawal does not apply to it. Unopened bottles with the seal intact are refunded in full.
  • Please return bottles unopened, with seals intact, ideally in the original packaging (the original packaging is not a condition for withdrawal, but protects the bottle in transit — you bear the risk of damage caused by inadequate return packaging).

4. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to your specification or clearly personalised (e.g. engraved bottles), art. 6:230p BW.

5. Defective or wrong items

Statutory conformity rights are unaffected: if an item arrives damaged, leaking, or is not what you ordered, contact info@tecantequila.com — repair, replacement or full refund (including all shipping) is on us. See also the Shipping Policy §4.
